SMS Communications Management

Now you can send bulk or individual SMS communications to parents or parent groups for attendance and adhoc messages such as sports day reminders and general health warnings. This facility is completely managed and controlled within DayMap.

New Resource Booking Facility

Due to user demand, this new feature has been developed to provide a powerful, accessible and easy to use resource booking. Rooms are automatically linked to your timetable and resources can then be linked to rooms or other resources (eg. projectors, whiteboards or sports equipment)

New Custom Forms

Data Forms can be created to store customised student information such as incident reports or structured student learning plans.

New Online Student Reports

This advanced reporting capability uses MS Word 2007 XML templates to create hierarchial student reports that can be based on any of the information stored in DayMap. It may also be extended to read from other school databases.

Right-Click Menu Feature

Throughout DayMap you have access to the Student Right-Click Menu Feature. This feature is available at numerous points where student listings are shown within DayMap.

You can right click on a student name to choose from a menu of student details options providing instant access to valuable student information directly from the class roll.

Edval Integration

We have recently built an import package for the Edval timetabling system, adding a another timetabling package to the expanding list of systems that DayMap integrates with. The team at Edval were extremely helpful and demonstrated an impressive willingness to resolve integration issues for a very successful outcome.

Create Your Own Groups

Special interest groups, such as sporting or musical groups, can now be created and edited in an instant by an administrator. This will provide even more flexibility for managing and grouping students including better attendance management for excursions and VCE students.
