Daymap can be purchased at different levels according to your schools requirements. This gives you the opportunity to start with the core functionality and move to the other levels as your usage grows. This model caters to different schools and their different implementation strategies.

The introductory level of DayMap provides you with very powerful attendance and classroom management. Many other features are included, like communication tools, basic student management, bulletins, find functions and MS Outlook integration.
DayMap’s attendance management provides your school with electronic roll marking, powerful reporting, automatic alerts, SMS*/email notification to parents, easy administration and readily accessible information.
Classroom management gives teachers chronological class planning, timetable delivery, ability to record class work, set homework and deliver /receive documents.
Student Management collaborates and categorises feedback from all teachers and staff to give an overall picture of a student’s progress, strengths and weaknesses. DayMap records students “special needs” and highlights these to each teacher every time they mark their class roll.

DayMap’s advanced student management provides teachers with more tools, summaries, contacts and more advanced attendance mapping.
Assessment Management and Progress Reporting is used to track students’ performance for individual tasks, providing marking/grading and comments, as well as for overall tracking using a system of GPA (grade point average).
Also includes resource booking, calendaring and advanced SMS communications management*, allowing bulk or individual communications to parents or groups for attendance or ad hoc messages.

Online custom forms and reporting provide a powerful and flexible approach to collecting, collating and presenting data, such as incident reporting, structured learning plans and student reports.
DayMap utilises SharePoint as a base for its learning management and provides easy navigation for students, parents, teachers and staff. This powerful software, which has a rich feature set and extensive customisations available, can be enjoyed by the whole school. Use for calendaring, course builders, blogs, forums, shared class sites and much more.

Other Options

CheckIn Option – Check In can be added to either level. This option uses swipe card and optional touch screen technology to quickly and easily manage students who arrive late or leave early, all managed within DayMap.
SMS Communications management – Send bulk or individual SMS communications to parents or parent groups for attendance and adhoc messages. Completely managed and controlled within Daymap.

Professional Devlopment
|

Loop Software offers some excellent PD sessions in DayMap, these sessions are of equal use to you if your school is new to DayMap, or if you’ve been using it for some time.
The content for the session is tailored to the needs of your school, with the sessions potentially broken up into time allocations for one or more of the following areas.
- Teacher - covers DayMap navigation, roll marking, attendance reporting, student notes and, if applicable to your school, DayMap’s assignment/assessment tools, and learning management.
- Administration (roll admin staff) – covers all aspects of the tools available to roll admin staff, including roll marking tools, attendance reporting tools and absence notification tools, also covered are student notes and the new note categorization features, including the highly popular “Special Needs” category.
- Technical Configuration/Administration (IT/Networking staff) – covers the options available for customisation of DayMap within your school, the technical concepts of DayMap’s integration with your timetable package and the simple windows authentication model of DayMap.
